学历及学术经历:
1982/91986/7复旦大学化学系获博士,1979/91982/7华东化工学院化学系获硕士学位,1977/9-1979/7华东化工学院抗菌素专业(1979年提前考取研究生),1986/81988/8中科院化学所,博士后,1988/101991/4日本分子科学研究所井口洋夫教授研究组,访问学者,1997/61998/6美国加州大学圣巴巴拉分校(UCSBAlan J. Heeger教授研究组,访问学者,1998/101998/11日本分子科学研究所 JSPS 访问学者。2000/22000/5美国加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLAYang Yang教授研究组,教育部公派高访。1988/92012/6:中科院化学所,副研究员(1991年)、研究员,2012/12-至今:苏州大学材料与化学化工学部,特聘教授。1987年度获国家教委科技进步二等奖锂电池放电机理---嵌入反应的研究,(排名第二,第一是吴浩青院士)。1995年获国家自然科学二等奖导电聚吡咯的研究(排名第二,第一是钱人元院士)。1994年获中国科学院有突出贡献的中青年专家称号;1998年获国家级中青年有突出贡献专家称号。2005年获北京市科学技术奖一等奖导电聚合物电化学和聚合物发光电化学池的研究(排名第一)。迄今已发表研究论文400 多篇(其中影响因子5以上杂志上发表论文100多篇,包括Nature PhotonicsAcc. Chem. Res. Chem. Soc. Rev.Energy Environ. Sci.ACS Nano1篇、J. Am. Chem. Soc.Adv. Energy Mater.4 Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2篇、Adv. Mater.Adv. Funct. Mater 10篇、Chem. MaterChem. Commun. .Polym. Chem.9篇、Macromolecules 29篇、J. Mater. Chem. 17篇等)。与吴浩青先生合著《电化学动力学》,另在10多部著作中写有与共轭聚合物光电子材料和器件相关的部分章节。发表论文已被SCI他人引用8000多次。

研究领域:
1.    聚合物太阳能电池相关材料和器件:1)宽吸收、高迁移率的新型共轭聚合物的设计和合成;2)可溶液加工有机分子光伏材料的设计和合成;3)新型富勒烯衍生物受体光伏材料的设计和合成;4)高性能聚合物太阳能电池的制备和表征。
2.    导电聚合物电化学:1)导电聚合物的电化学制备和电化学性质;2)共轭聚合物的HOMOLUMO能级的电化学测量。
3.    白光聚合物发光二极管和无机半导体纳晶电致发光器件:1)高性能白光聚合物发光二极管的制备和白光发光机理研究。2)新型发光聚合物的设计和合成。3)高性能聚合物/无机半导体纳晶发光二极管的制备和表征。
